The narrow aisle lift truck has been manufactured to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale produces the single reach NR and double reach NDR units that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads transported during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Although regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to lessen operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be in excess of 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are normally wire or rail guided when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
