Types
Clark makes a range of forklift trucks such as narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The various types vary in terms of the way they run. For example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle types designed for use inside warehouses and different other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.

Lifting Capacity
Based on the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could vary. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion or IC models are suggested. They could carry from 1400-8000 kilograms.

Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC models have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.

Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This consists of the operator's overhead protective cover, the seat and the controls. The frame includes the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
