Operator Environment
Operators have a safe and efficient place to work from in the Spirit Delta cab. The specific design of the cab comes as a result of extensive research into the operators working conditions. The most important objective is to offer optimum visibility with no forward corner posts and big glass areas unobstructed to keep the field of vision clear. The instrumental panel is ergonomically designed and is gently rounded and extremely comfortable. This area has also been designed with an unobstructed clear view of all essential info, in order to keep the operator functioning as efficiently as possible.

Thanks to the insulated mounting to the chassis, vibration levels and overall noise levels are kept low. The hydraulic controls and the operators' seat are all independently adjustable that allows you to maintain an optimum working position. In addition, the steering wheel and related panel is adjustable for maximum comfort. There are 2 simple to operate, multi-functioned ergonomically positioned levers which are offered for gear changing, windscreen wipers, the horn and window washers.

To guarantee a comfortable cab temperature for the operator, a ventilation/heating unit supplies incoming air which is replaced by an air filter. This is easily replaceable and the unit slides out afterwards to make serviceability an easy option. The equipment has a robust 3-speed fan for recirculation, defrosting, heating and cooling. As an additional option, air conditioning could be fitted.

Instrumentation
The instrument panel in the spirit delta cab has been logically grouped and are all within easy reach. The basic instruments which include: low brake pressure, high coolant temperature, warning lamps, low engine and gearbox lubrication oil pressure, high gearbox oil temperature and applied parking brake. In addition, gauges display values for operating time, fuel quantity, engine coolant and gearbox oil pressure.

Amongst the main options the 8 to 10 tonne trucks can be equipped with is the ECS or also called Electronic Control System monitoring. This enables for easy supervision of the model. All of the monitoring functions are handled by the ECS or Electronic Control System and incorporated by this system. The full text display and the single warning lamp show any faults that occur and their current values.
