Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your needs, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. For instance, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
