Used Caterpillar Container Handlers Berkeley

Caterpillar Container handlers are full container handlers which are unequaled in lifting capacity and efficiency.

High performance, stability and modern technology combine in order to make Caterpillar Container handlers the optimum choice for loading and unloading full containers. Container Handlers vary from 24 tons to 43 tons. Options consist of high-mounted cabin in the middle or low-mounted cabin at the front for the excellent handling and visibility.

Rough Terrain Forklift
At construction sites and other types of locations where the surface is not paved, the rough terrain forklift is best. This particular type of forklift is used to transport materials around lumberyards.

These kinds of forklifts are really designed for rough terrain. Then again, the machine is top heavy and should be handled carefully in rough areas. The equipment should be level with all tires on the ground when lifting.

Steering is more challenging at higher speeds. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration does not set speed restrictions on forklifts. Nonetheless, operators are responsible for operating forklifts at a safe speed, particularly when turning and driving on rough terrain.

In order to prevent a tip over, never lift a load while operating on an incline. The load should be on the uphill side of the machine if driving up a slope. When driving down a slope, backing down is a good safety practice.
