Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic lift trucks provide versatility and height. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks can not move the load away from and towards the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would often use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is meant to hoist workers is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a chain or strap is utilized to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
