Used Skyjack Boom Lifts Berkeley

Used Skyjack Boom Lifts Berkeley

Skyjack started to make scissor lift platforms back during the year 1986. The company continued to manufacture their product through the 1990s, becoming a world leader in the aerial lift business. Eventually, Skyjack grew to more than 30 percent market share overall. Even nowadays, the company maintains their dominance as a major player who has rapidly adapted to the changing face of the industrial machine business.

Factors such as their commitment to reliability and quality have been key to Skyjacks solid reputation. They are recognized worldwide as being the manufacturer of the best scissor lifts within the world. The Skyjack product line is manufactured and sold all around the world.

Linamar Corporation, known as LNR on the TSX, bought Skyjack in August 2002. Linamar is best recognized for its production of assemblies, modules and precision-machined components. Linamar's solid balance sheet offers Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength overall. Skyjack presently has production facilities within Berkeley, Hungary and the US with support offices within Asia and Europe.

The company offers a complete line of self-propelled scissor lifts. Several models have elevated work heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the industry by providing machinery features that combined serviceability, durability, quality and service, making Skyjack scissor lifts known all over the globe for product reliability. The company's current Boom lift model lineup consists of telescopic booms. These models provide telescopic booms which feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. The company has plans to further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

The acquisition of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business in August the year 2007 complements the products acquired in the acquisition of Carelift Equipment. These acquisitions have enhanced Skyjack's Telehandler product offering in both the VR series telehandlers and the Boom Zoom series. These acquisitions provide the company an opportunity to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way within the industry, providing reliable lift solutions.
