Kinds of Forklifts
Forklifts are used to lift and move loads that are heavy, usually within warehouses and construction sites. They are usually found in material handling and other manufacturing operations. There are various types of forklifts utilized for different kinds of applications.

To be able to prevent tipping over, several forklifts are counterbalanced. Other safety features include handrails or turntables. Specialty forklifts are available for certain applications.
